Please note that Thesis is the most advanced and friendly theme I’ve ever come across in regards to search engine optimization. However, at the moment, there are still a few plugins I’d recommend using in conjunction with Thesis for SEO purposes:

• SEO title tag (while Thesis lets you change post and page titles without this plugin, it doesn’t let you change category titles)
• RSS footer
• SEO slugs
• Robots meta
• Permalink redirect
• Custom query string
